VERITAS took part in the meeting on Pro Bono

25 October 2017, a Managing Partner Elena Bit-Avragim together with a Chief Lawyer Anastasya Volosatova participated in a round-table discussion on ‘Providing free legal assistance under the model of Pro Bono for women and children affected by gender-based violence’.

The ‘Pro Bono’ model assumes highly professional free legal support, that is to say the model for social responsibility on the side of lawyers, which is widespread in many countries.

During the round-table discussion, a practical guide was developed for lawyers providing legal assistance to women victims of gender-based violence.
