VERITAS conducted a training on mediation

21 October 2017, a Managing Partner Elena Bit-Avragim and a Chief Lawyer Anastasya Volosatova of VERITAS carried out a training on ‘Fundamentals of Mediation’ at the public association ‘National Centre for Mediation’.

During the training, the participants were provided with information on the possibility of settling disputes amicably using the mediation procedures, and on how to improve the effectiveness of conflict management.

In connection with an enacted law of the Kyrgyz Republic ‘On Mediation’ of 22 June 2017, Kyrgyzstan introduces a mediation procedure whereby citizens can settle their disputes through negotiations (mediation).
