VERITAS about the history of the arbitration court and the possibilities of its development in the country

The International Arbitration Court under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic has made a series of short video clips on the International Arbitration Tribunal.

The videos were made based upon the interviews with a deputy chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Arbitration Court, a senior lawyer of Veritas Mrs N. Galliamova.

During the interview, Mrs Galliamova in details talked about when and how the International Arbitration Court was set up, what were the difficulties, and how the society and the state authorities were prepared for the creation of the International Arbitration Tribunal, she also answered the question on the possibilities of the Tribunal, whether these possibilities have deteriorated or improved in the Kyrgyz Republic given the current trends in the legislation, inasmuch as the legislation of our country has been being constantly amended due to some reasons. Likewise, the arbitration charges/fees were discussed, in particular, whether it is relevant to say that the settlement of a dispute through arbitration is expensive, and that there are no guarantees that the decision of the Tribunal will be enforced.
