VERITAS took part in an international conference on ‘The New York Convention and its interaction with the domestic laws of the Central Asian countries’

30 November 2018, Mrs Natalia Galliamova, the senior partner and Mrs Elena Bit-Avragim, the managing partner of Veritas Law Agency participated in an international conference on ‘The New York Convention and its interaction with the domestic laws of the Central Asian countries’. This conference was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the UN New York Convention of 10 June 1958 on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards.

Lawyers, corporate jurists, business associations, representatives of the state bodies, international arbitrators and mediators from England, Germany, France, Greece, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Malaysia took part in this conference.

During the conference, Mrs Natalia Galliamova solemnly greeted the participants and acted as a moderator for one of the sessions.

All participants of this conference emphasised the importance of the UN Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (New York, 10 June 1958) and the success of its application throughout the entire period.

This conference was a significant business event in the field of jurisprudence and was conducted at the initiative and direct support of the International Arbitration Court under the Chamber of Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic in close cooperation with foreign partners.
