VERITAS took part in the first Bishkek International Law Forum

From 5 to 6 July 2018, Elena Bit-Avragim the managing partner and Anastasya Volosatova a senior lawyer at Veritas law agency participated in the first Bishkek International Law Forum ‘Actual problems of law in the current conditions of development in the Kyrgyz Republic and the experience of foreign countries’.

The Law Forum is an important business event in the field of law and was conducted by the Association of Lawyers of Kyrgyzstan in cooperation with international partners.

At the forum the actual problems related to access to justice, legal profession, corporate law and application of modern technologies in law, and also novelties of legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic were discussed.

At the end of Forum, a Resolution was adopted with key recommendations on the development of law taking into account international experience. This document will be presented to the relevant state authorities, international partners and professional legal community.
