VERITAS participated in the roundtable discussion on mediation

On March 27, 2019, Anastasia Volosatova, Chief Lawyer of  VERITAS Law Agency participated in a roundtable discussion regarding “Prospects for improving the investment climate in the Kyrgyz Republic through the development of mediation”. The roundtable discussion organized by the International Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic in association with the Ministry of economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the roundtable discussion, participants and invited experts discussed the capabilities of mediation on improving the investment climate of the country, on attracting investors to the republic. Furthermore, they asked questions on a relevant topic to the specially invited expert Wolf von Cumberg from the UK. Whom shared his significant experience and made a speech on mediation in the context of improvement of the investment climate.

Representatives of ministries, courts, business, arbitrators, lawyers and mediators participated in the roundtable discussion.
