Law making

VERITAS Partners regularly engage in law making activities– development of new regulations and perfection of the legislation in force.

Company’s Senior Partner Natalia Galliamova was engaged in the development of such laws as “On arbitration court in the Kyrgyz Republic”, “On microfinance institutions”, “On insurance”. She is one of the authors of the commentary to the Civil Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

VERITAS Partners were also engaged in the development of various level draft regulations (decrees of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, instruments of other state authorities) under the provision of support to client projects, some of which were adopted as official regulations.

Services:

• Development of draft regulations (laws and bylaws), representation of interests at all the stages of law making process.
• Provision of advice on the cancellation, amendment or supplement of bylaws (decrees, regulations, orders etc.) in extra-judicial manner.
• Provision of advice regarding the contestation of regulations and non-regulatory acts, unlawful decisions and actions (omissions) of state authorities, local governments and officials (including the elaboration of legal position and representation in courts).
